Become a Member
To become a member of our association, individuals applying for membership must be at least thirteen years of age. We offer and welcome membership to young individuals, as well as all male and female individuals who have a keen interest in football refereeing.
Prior to membership, it is necessary for individuals to have completed the Level 4 Part One Football Federation Australia Referee Induction Course. This course covers all theory aspects of football refereeing and give participants a thorough knowledge of the laws of the game.
To become an active referee, participants of the level 4 Part One course must complete the Level 4 Part Two course, which focuses on the practical aspects of refereeing.
On satisfactory completion of both the Level 4 Part One and Level 4 Part Two courses, individuals are able to apply to the association to become active members of the association. Upon being accepted as an active member, members are eligible to be appointed to fixtures and are also granted full voting rights at meetings.
If you have already completed the Level 4 Part One or Level 4 Part Two course, either through our association or through another one, then you may apply to join our association by completing the Membership Application Package below and also the FFA Match Official Registration Form and returning it to our registrar.
