This Saturday, 8 November, Tanya De Boer will be an assistant referee in the W-League match between the Newcastle Jets and Queensland Roar, kicking off at 7.00pm at Oakes Oval, Lismore.

Casino Cobras are taking over the running of Casino Indoor Football (i.e futsal) and they are looking for referees to officiate on junior & senior games.

This Sunday will see Tanya De Boer make her W-League debut, when she officiates on the Newcastle Jets v Canberra United match at Wanderers Oval in Newcastle.

Last Saturday night saw the culmination of a long season when the Far North Coast Referees Annual Presentation Dinner was held at the South Lismore Bowling Club.

This weekend will see Glen Gibbs retire from active refereeing after 30 continuous years of service. Glen has always lived locally, but spent ten years travelling to Brisbane and around the country to cover State and National fixtures. For 22 of the 30 years, Glen has refereed at the highest local Premier division level (although this level has had various other names through the years).

Congratulations to Luke Mackney, who will officiate the Premier Division grand final on Saturday 27 September, when Minor Premiers Richmond Rovers take on the Lennox Head Sharks.

Football Far North Coast have announced that an Under 19’s Summer Youth League will be running this year, commencing on Friday 17th October and concluding on Friday 19th December 2008.
