2008 Presentation Dinner
The Annual Presentation Dinner is being held on Saturday 4 October 2008 at the South Lismore Bowling Club, beginning at 6.30pm for pre dinner drinks.
On this night we present a number of awards, including:
- Rookie Of The Year
- Assistant Referee Of The Year
- Most Improved Junior
- Most Improved Senior
- Most Consistent Referee
- Female Referee Of The Year
- Referee Of The Year
- Referee’s Referee
As well as these awards, we have a few extra awards to present and have a bit of light entertainment and prizes.
The cost for the evening is $25 per person, which includes dinner & all drinks. All members and their families are invited and encouraged to come.
In order to work out numbers for the dinner all members are asked to please confirm whether or not they be attending this year’s Presentation Dinner and to confirm how many guests they will be bringing. Members are asked to please send our secretary, Luke Mackney, an email by no later than Sunday 21 September.
This year we will possibly be providing 2 buses to transport guests to the dinner, but it will depend on numbers and location of members. At the moment we plan to have a bus run through Murwillumbah, Mullumbimby, Ocean Shores, Bangalow, Ballina, Alstonville and Goonellabah, but this may change and venues could be added if enough people want to catch it. Times and venues of pick-up will be confirmed and given to those interested once numbers have been finalised. If you are interested in catching the bus please contact Luke by no later than Sunday 14 September and tell him where you would like to catch it and how many people will be catching it.
