Last week all members should have received a nomination form for this year’s Referee’s Referee Award.

Since receiving this nomination form, some members have asked who they are allowed to nominate and what things they should take into account when nominating members for this award.

When voting for this award it is important to consider the referees who you believe have performed well on a consistent basis or someone who has provided you with some useful coaching or guidance throughout the year.

Members do NOT need to vote for a Premier Division referee. Members can vote for ANY referee from ANY grade. Further, members can vote for a referee even if they have not officiated with that person, it might be someone they’ve watched referee on a game.

Please remember that all nominations forms need to be returned to Dick Nolan by FRIDAY 25 SEPTEMBER 2009.
