Do you have all your gear ready for the final series? Please remember we have a dress code which requires you to wear a FFNC Referees polo shirt to your games. Do you have yours? From time to time, and particularly at night, our black uniform is similar to players attire and makes us harder to see. Do you have the alternative referee yellow shirt? The referee will determine which uniform is to be worn on the day – the two assistants MUST be in the same shirt, whether yellow or black.

All gear is still available to purchase from Darren Butcher, with all sizes of everything in stock. We still have a minumum of 18 months remaining with the current uniform, so dont be frightened to make these purchases. Correct uniform is essential ALWAYS, not just for the final series. The Appointments Panel are currently finalising the Finals panels to allow everybody the chance of officiating in semi finals and grand finals. Attitude and performance form the main selection criteria. Obviously there are only a limited amount of Grand Finals available to referee, so not everyone will get this opportunity to be in the centre. Like a player, there is no better feeling for a referee than to be part of the finals series – to always do your best on the field and allow an enjoyable game for the players and spectators within with laws of the game.
